Democrat Socialism: The End Result

Socialized medicine, this is supposedly the cure to the Health Insurance woes of the United States. Has anyone within the political realm actually sat down and looked at the long term results? Has anyone spent the time to determine how this "little" concession of freedom will lead to catastrophe?

First, a certain amount of taxes will have to be gathered to provide everyone with Health Insurance. Doctors, Nurses, Medical Supply people, and others in the medical industry must be reimbursed for their work and supplies. Who determines what this amount is? Politicians? We've all seen how intelligent they are when it comes to spending.
 
Here's a scenario.
 
If the government is going to collect tax money from the citizenry then why shouldn't there be restrictions, excuse me. "guidelines" to what is expected of those receiving "free" health care. Smoking? Gotta stop or you won't receive the health care. Drinking? Gotta stop or you won't receive health care. Why should people who don't drink or smoke pay for those who do?

If people stop smoking and drinking then what happens to the people who work in these industries? They lose their jobs of course. This lessens the amount of people paying taxes. However, the government has promised to support it's people with health care so they will do the only thing they know how to do, raise taxes on those who can still afford to pay. By the way, what happens to the bills that those who lost their jobs used to pay? Bankruptcy? Worse? Who is going to pay those? How many financial companies and credit card companies will be forced to take the hit and respond by laying off people? The situation gets worse.

Year by year the situation will get worse. On top of this, as in Europe, why work when the government will provide you what you need? Production as well as productivity decreases while the dependance on the government increases.

Socialism is the beginning of the end of every nation on the planet. If America takes this step, the western ideology of freedom and liberty dies.

Obama is NOT a Liberal

I am tired of hearing Democrats, especially Barack Obama labelled as Liberals. JFK was a Liberal. Harry Truman was a Liberal. Thomas Jefferson was a Liberal. The present day Democrat is NOT a Liberal.

Liberalsim:

2a often capitalized : a movement in modern Protestantism emphasizing intellectual liberty and the spiritual and ethical content of Christianity b: a theory in economics emphasizing individual freedom from restraint and usually based on free competition, the self-regulating market, and the gold standard c: a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties d: capitalized : the principles and policies of a Liberal party.

Many would argue that definition 2a applies to the modern Democrat. Seeing as the Democrats have taken in many non Christians as well as atheists the argument would be vacuous.

Definition b definitely doesn't fit Barack Obama nor his party. The modern Democrat wants to punish the successful person through taxes and give this money to the non-productive.
The argument could be made in support of definition c, though I have a few questions. Progress towards what? What in today's world would make a person believe in the essential goodness of the Human race? The Middle East? Africa? China? Russia?
As for protection of civil liberties this only applies to those that are in the minority. If you believe that gay's shouldn't be allowed to get married or that Islamists should be destroyed you are a mere bigot.

Carefully read this definition. This is where the modern democratic party is going.
Communism is their end goal.

Israel and Clausewitz

The present generation has decided that war is the worst of all human endeavors. If war is to be conducted it must be sanitary and does not allow for the death of perceived innocents. The stronger nation or group should always be willing to accept death of its own people while continuing to try and talk to the attacker. There is no such thing as an enemy or evil. There is only ignorance and misunderstanding that can be dealt with diplomatically.

The previous paragraph may be deemed an oversimplification of reality. I beg to differ. In fact, when one peruses the media outlets as well as listens to the leading idealists of leftism, it is exactly what is occurring.

The enemies of Israel have no repugnance towards any act of brutality. They are willing to send women, children, and the elderly to blow themselves up in the name of allah. They also use the same as shields against Israeli attacks. In return, they intentionally go after women, children, and the elderly in Israel. Hamas, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad, and others go out of their way to find the weakest targets in Israel and kill them. When Israel kills a "palestinian" woman, child, or senior citizen it is propagandized and considered an atrocity.

Israels enemies have come realize the "repugnance of brutality" and actually thrive in it. Israel has yet to come to realize that they must be more brutal than their enemy. There are numerous reasons for this from not wanting to be labelled brutal to a fear of "worldly" repercussions. This being said, Israel's enemies realize they can get away with brutality because Israel and the West lack the chutzpa to react in kind.

Until Israel, and the West, are willing to do what is absolutely necessary, the enemy will continue its present course of brutality and murder. Fear of perception is not an option.
