Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday laid out his most specific demands for the borders of a future independent state, calling for a full Israeli withdrawal from all territories captured in the Six Day War in 1967.
What would make Abbas believe that Israel would cede this land? Land that was won after a war started by Abbas' compatriots. A war started with the intention of annihilating Israel. A war that was lost and put the ineptitude of Arabs on display for all to see. Well, if you can't beat them, cry to the "world community".
Enough is enough. The "palestinians" have not earned one iota of trust. Let them learn to live in peace for awhile before any discussions are entered into. They can't seem to get along with each other let alone learn to get along with their sworn enemy.
With Israel seeking to retain parts of the West Bank and east Jerusalem, Abbas's comments appeared to set the stage for tough negotiations, which are expected to include complicated arrangements such as land swaps and shared control over holy sites.
Here's an idea. Jerusalem remains in the land of Israel and under it's control. To eliminate any problems with "Holy Sites", the Al Aqsa mosque will be destroyed. There will be no islamic claim to Jerusalem left. If that is too extreme, move the Mosque brick by brick into muslim territory and they can stay out of Jerusalem altogether.
How do we know that Abbas' plan is a failed one?:
Abbas said his claim is backed by UN resolutions.
If the UN backs it, it's doomed before it starts.
"The international conference must include the six major issues that are Jerusalem, refugees, borders, settlements, water and security," Abbas said.
There is an easy fix to all of this. Israel, including Jerusalem, belongs to the Israeli's. This includes the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. These territories were won in war and should remain in the hands of the Israeli's. There is no such being as a "
palestinian". Why not take a note from Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad's oratory and send the "
palestinians" to Canada or Europe?
