Face the enemy now!

Time and time again the islamist proves that the only thing it understands is violence and force. It's only political tool is violence and death. The islamist threatens and them kills to get what it wants. My outside infidel view of the islamists actions is consistent with the book it uses to justify it's actions, the koran. The islamist appears to be living the words of the koran as well as the hadiths of their prophet. No amount of "spin" can change this fact. In the eyes of the islamist, a moderate muslim who is willing to ignore portions of the koran and hadith is an apostate. Therefore, anyone who doesn't think or act like the islamist is the enemy.

These murderous ideologues cannot be dealt with politically. They cannot be treated as normal everyday humans with a gripe. The leaders of these islamists are cowards while their followers are hate-filled, ignorant, tools to be sent to the slaughter. They have chosen violence to advance their cause and will stop at nothing short of complete victory. Their idea of victory is the destruction of Israel and the Western way of life. Freedom of speech and choice are replaced by the laws of allah. A caliphate would rule the planet and decision making would be eliminated. Do as instructed, or die. Life would be that "easy".

For people that believe and follow this ideology anything short of attaining it means that the "struggle" and fight must continue. The islamist will attack women, children, and the elderly. There is no such thing as an innocent. All nations that don't follow the sharia are infidels and guilty as a whole. The islamist uses verbiage from the West to convince the West that the islamist is the victim. They use Western words to try and impress upon the West that we all want the same thing. The West and the islamists don't want the same things nor do the two groups thin and act the same way. Freedom for the islamist means freedom FROM decisions, Freedom FROM being an apostate to islam.

The islamists have an ally in the Socialists and Communists. Sprinkle in some secularists and they have a formidable force against the freedom loving rest of humanity. These allies are for anything that will stand against capitalism, Judaism, and Christianity. Personal responsibility and achievement would be replaced by group thought and communal property. Everyone would dress and act the same. Women would be subjugated to slave status. The very "Hollywood Elite" would be placed in front of a firing squad and made into examples of what would happen to "the odd and different".

The enemy has enough intelligence to understand the weak minded amongst the Western societies. The are capable of manipulating and using these tools to advance their own cause. The moral decay in the West has left societies searching for something to replace what they have lost. Instead of reverting to their parents morals they have commenced a search for something more "progressive". What is more "progressive" than supporting a cause perceived, by moral relativists, as one of Civil Liberties and Just. A situation created by the Arabs, "Palestinian Refugees", was just the beginning. The angst against Judaism and Christianity has led to the support of a third religion, islam, as a weapon in the battle against the "ancient religions". All of the advances made and given to the world through Judaism and Christianity are shelved and only the bad things that were done in the names of the religions is portrayed. Even good things are "reevaluated" and deemed evil.

This is funny in itself because the relativist doesn't believe in Good versus Evil. They consider them abstract and subjective ideas that don't belong in this day and age. Their ignorance of islam is displayed in this ideology because islam is more stringent than the other two religions. But this too is explained away or outright ignored.

This is the world we live in. This is the enemy to civilization that has reared its head. Sadly most would rather not confront this. People would rather sit in their homes and complain while watching the news than get out and face this enemy. The enemy is simple. The islamist twists every event and situation to his advantage. The enemy consistently lies and is treated with respect and dignity that isn't given to the the truthsayers. The enemy is killing people while receiving thanks from their victims. It is not all the islamists fault that they have advanced in this war as much as they have. It is our fault for allowing this to happen in the first place.

The enemy hides behind civilians to play a propaganda game for victimhood. It's time to stop treating the nations that harbor these islamists as innocent. Take the same approach as the enemy. There are no innocents. Force the locals to take a side. They either fight and rid themselves of the terrorists or they support them and confront us. In present times there is no Switzerland. The world and our future cannot afford it.

All out War

With Iran racing toward nuclear power and IDF preparations for the possibility of a conflict with Syria and Hizbullah in high gear, the Home Front Command plans to launch a publicity campaign to prepare the public for war.

I recently posted a piece laying out the vulnerable spots within Israel if Kassams were to commence from the West Bank as well as attacks from Southern Lebanon. In light of the release of the linked article in the Jerusalem Post, I figured I would re-release that piece.

With just a cursory view of an Israeli map, I have come up with this synopsis. If Hamas is successful in inciting the West Bank to commence rocket attacks on Israel it isn't far fetched to believe that Hizbollah would recommence attacks out of Southern Lebanon. If this is the case, here are the Israeli Cities susceptible (Based on a 22 mile Kassam range from the borders):

From the West Bank: Nazareth, Hadera, Netanya, Herzliyya, Tel Aviv, Ramla, Dimona

From the West Bank and Gaza Strip: Ashkelon, Beersheba, Ashdod, Sderot

From the West Bank and Southern Lebanon: Haifa, Akko, Nahariyya

Basically, this puts all of Israel within striking distance. Not one inch of Israeli soil, nor one Israeli life would be considered safe. With all of this going on, what's to keep Jerusalem from being overrun?

A Response to Khalid Mashaal

I penned the followin post at Opinoneditorials.com on 2 February 2006. I figured it was time for a revisit. My opinion of this heinous human being has not changed.

The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Khalid Mish’al, had a commentary posted in the Guardian on Tuesday, January 31st. The title, “We will not sell our people or principles for foreign aid” is all you need to know what follows. The opening sentence … “The Palestinians are among the most politicized and educated peoples in the world” provides the initial salvo and continues to launch political duds. Being pro-Israel, I had to prepare myself to read, what I knew to be typical, anti-Israeli, anti-western screed. Mr. Mish’al was about to tell me how the “Palestinians” were righteous and the rest of us are inferior dogs. I knew he wouldn’t use these words exactly. He would dodge and parry legitimate arguments. He would try to explain democracy to the democratic world. It’s the equivalent of being a shoe salesman and explaining business to Bill Gates.

Mr. Mish’al accuses “the worlds leading democracies of failing the test of democracy because they have not recognized the legitimacy of Hamas as a freely elected representative of the Palestinian people”. What Mr. Mish’al misses is we do recognize Hamas’ electoral legitimacy. We recognize the fact that the “Palestinian people” elected a known terrorist organization as its representative. Every action has a reaction. This bit of information not only comes from our parents and teachers, it has been proven throughout history. Had the proper reaction been taken 70 years ago, Nazism would have been killed before it got a chance to start. Had the proper response been given in 1948, the problems in the Middle East would be entirely different. Had countries recognized Israel as a partner on the world stage, there would have been no refugees. Had countries decided to deal diplomatically and in business with Israel, the current situation would never have been given a chance to rise. But, the reaction given has been proven to be the wrong one. The sad part is, in defeating the invading armies; Israel exposed the weakness in the Arab and Persian world. Their pride was sorely beaten. Instead of taking a serious look inward and correcting their faults, they flaunted them and have made their faults their ideology. Their shortcomings are the banner they wave as they go into continuous battle with the country that exposed them.

Mr. Mish’al states that “We are being punished simply for resisting oppression and striving for justice.” I would ask why he hasn’t responded to the past injustices done to them by Jordan and Egypt. How many Arab and Muslim countries kicked out the “Palestinian refugees?” The same countries that now financially support and provide aid are the ones that don’t want you in their country. Even after the initial defeat, there was a possibility to achieve peace. Leaving Israel in their tiny sliver of land caused no financial hardship on anyone. Opening business relations with them could have made the Middle East a very prosperous place. Instead, hatred was chosen. Instead of working to correct problems, the “Palestinians” live by them. The Arab and Muslim world support this. Leftist and other elitists support this. Hatred is a very powerful weapon. In the end it usually kills the hater, but not before it takes out quite a few innocents.

Mr. Mish’al also brags about the “...Thousands of martyrs”, “….the millions of refugees”, and the “… 9,000 political and war prisoners in Israeli jails have not made these sacrifices in order to settle for close to nothing.” The martyrs that have been sacrificed were your potential country’s future. How much anguish and despair was caused by the useless loss of life. How much hatred had to be developed in order to attain eternal bliss with 72 virgins? When did thousands turn into millions? And of the so-called millions of refugees, how many were actually alive in 1948? This is just another prevarication to get new sympathy. As for the prisoners, the sacrifice was for far worse than close to nothing. It was for nothing. They were tools used to keep a certain ideological group in power. This keeps the money flowing to the true oppressors. The “Palestinian people” have no one to blame but themselves. They have sacrificed to achieve nothing. Worse yet, they are continuing to destroy themselves and take great joy in this.

“Hamas is immune to bribery, intimidation and blackmail.” This one made me laugh. Not a funny laugh, but a cynically disgusted laugh. Hamas is under the control of anyone who provides money. I would assume that the biggest contributor now is Iran. This makes them openly bribed and blackmailed. If they decide to bite the hand that feeds them they will receive more than intimidation. Being elected doesn’t negate this responsibility to their sponsors. Iran is progressively pushing their brand of government through the Middle East. Using a similar enemy, Israel, and a similar result, Islamic Law, they will continue to use and manipulate anyone to their cause. Hamas is now the little fish in the big sea. In order to stay alive, they will have to concede to the desires of the big fish around them. Mr. Mish’al is talking the big game while he hopes not to have to get off the bench. A cliché in the United States covers this pretty well. “If you can’t run with the big dogs, don’t get off the porch.”

Mr. Mish’al then states that he expects the Muslim and Arab nations to step in and make up the difference in the loss of aid and then demands that these same countries lift all restrictions on civil society institutions that fundraise for the Palestinian cause. Big talk from a little man usually gets him knocked out. In this case, countries will probably do what is asked. This won’t last for long. When the money slows down, the blame will be fully tossed onto the shoulders of the west. Mr. Mish’al’s demands are more of the same old rhetoric.

Mr. Mish’al ends with the standard Middle Eastern contradiction. “We shall never recognize the legitimacy of a Zionist state created on our soil…” followed by “But if you are willing to accept the principle of a long-term truce, we are prepared to negotiate the terms.” Even novice knowledge of the Koran and its Hadith’s realize what a truce represents to the Muslim world. The fact that they don’t recognize Israel’s legitimacy shines light on the end result of the truce. The word jizya is making the rounds. This doesn’t bode well for non-Muslims. It also doesn’t bode well if Israel does get sucked into the reign of a Caliphate.

Diplomacy has not worked. Talking only gives countries an opportunity to build up their forces and prepare for the inevitable war. The western world wants peace. The Muslim world wants an Islamic Caliphate. These ideas cannot live together. Men with similar ideas have a hard time dealing with each other. Men with dissimilar ideas will eventually face a confrontation. Whether it is now or in the not so distant future, the face to face confrontation is coming. Better now, when the odds are in the favor of the people who seek to live in peace, than later, when the caliphate is on the rise.

Who is to blame?

If there was any doubt about who controlled all the actions and inactions of Hamas:

Damascus-based
Hamas political leader Khaled Mashaal declared on Tuesday that the rocket attacks against Israel would continue, the British newspaper The Guardian reported overnight.

Until Israel has placed it's last citizen on a boat out of the Middle East Hamas will continue it's subversive and cowardly tactics. Occupation, to this organization, includes all of the land that Israel is presently on. Therefore anything short of the complete eradication of Israel means that their job is not done.

Whose fault is it that hAmas and Fatah are fighting?:

Mashaal blamed "negative foreign intervention, especially by the US and Israel," for the tensions between Hamas and
Fatah.

It is never their own fault. They always have to blame someone else for their failures so they can convince their ignorant followers to continue with the fight. It sounds like the typical American leftist.

Khalid Mashaal should have been dead a long time ago. The fact that he's is still breathing is a testimony to the the failures of the "Fight Nice" policy and the West's unwillingness to completely fight evil.

Hamas' Hypocrisy

Having limited his appearances in public (Ismail Haniyeh):

"He is frightened by the Israeli forces," Ghazi Hamad told The Associated Press in a telephone interview. "He's scared of being assassinated ... so he is taking precautions."

Isn't this the same guy that sends people out to blow themselves up for a cause and martyrdom? What happened to his desire for martyrdom that he claims he would be proud of?

Here's a funny:

But Hamad, on a visit to Britain before heading to Cairo to take part in talks between Hamas and its moderate rival Fatah, said the Hamas leadership felt unsafe after
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's comments on Sunday that "no one is immune."
"We don't trust Israel," he said.

In actuality he trusts Israel to do what it says it will do. He can't even tell the truth when there's no way around it.
Here's another outright lie:

Hamad
said Hamas was open to agreeing a "comprehensive" cease-fire with Israel if it stops military operations in Gaza and the West
Bank.

"If Israel accepted a comprehensive cease-fire, people will stop firing rockets," he said.

Rockets have been launched into Israel since the "last ceasefire" and somehow it is Israel that has to stop the retaliation. Here's one for Mr. Haniyeh, stop the rocket launches and Israel will halt it's military operations. Until then, be prepared to die.

Let the man stay in hiding for his life. He is showing himself to be the coward he is. He talks big when it comes time to send others to their death but hides when it is time for him to stand up and face the music. He doesn't have the luxury of living in Damascus like Khalid Mashaal does. It's time to cut two heads of the Gorgon.

Netanyahu Supporter

So it Ehud Barak is one step closer. It's a good thing that Amir peretz didn't make it into the second round but Barak isn't much better. There have been numerous people who have derided Binyamin Netanyahu's giving in to US pressure, but Barak has to be at the top of that list. There wasn't anything that President Clinton recommended that Barak didn't do. He even went above and beyond recommendations and offered up what had been considered unspeakable (Jerusalem for one).

As an outsider I am a supporter of Binyamin Netanyahu. Out of all the candidates that will be in the running for Israeli Prime Minister I believe him to be the sternest of will. I also believe that he has learned from his mistakes and will not recommit the same. I have no proof of this. I believe this based on "gut instinct". He is a politician, and as many politicians do, he could let me down. More importantly he could let the Israeli people down. However, I believe his upside to be worth the risk. More...

What will they do?

So Hamas continues it's rocket attacks on Sderot while claiming that Israel is the aggressor. Have you ever wondered what these guys talk about when the get together? Have they actually started to believe their own false propaganda? Do they actually paint themselves as the victim? My bet is they plan and scheme more assaults and then come up with the words they need to convince their followers that Israel is evil.

Hamas and it's fellow terror groups are looking for a war with Israel. However, they want it on their terms. They don't want an all out invasion. They want Israel to nitpick and have a skirmish here and a skirmish there. Israel's action, or inaction depending on how you look at it, last summer is exactly what the islamists want. The terrorists don't have to route Israel in order to win. All they have to do is survive. Hamas is attempting the same scheme as Hizbollah. More...

What does it matter?

So Abu Mazen and his boys are going to Cairo to meet with Mashaal's boys. I say Mashaal's boys because I haven't heard if Khalid was going to show up. According to reports the item at the top of their agenda is the ceasing of hostilities between the two groups. I have to laugh at this because I guarantee the first thing on Abu Mazen's list of items is his own future. Having attempted to take out Mazen last week, and possible earlier attempts, I am sure Mazen is more worried about his own life than his fellow "Palestinians" at this point.

Humorously these "negotiations" will be one on one with the Egyptian representatives and there is no guarantee of trilateral or face to face "negotiations". A word of advice for Mazen and the Egyptians, Hamas, especially Mashaal, cannot be trusted. Even if Mashaal is not at the meetings he is the one pulling Hamas' strings. What, if anything, comes out of these meetings will be worth less than the handshakes and kisses involved.

In public there will be smiles and lots of pats on the back. Behind closed doors there will be yelling, screaming, and finger pointing. All the while the "International Community" will hope that these two groups can kiss and make up so they can go back to attacking Israel as "one nation: instead of separate entities. This is the cohesion and unity the "world" has been waiting to see and so desperately wants.

For all intents and purposes Khalid Mashaal should have been dead a long time ago. The same could be said for Ismail Haniyeh and Abu Mazen. Unfortunately the Israeli government didn't have the chutzpa. Now they are once again paying the price. All of this while the world chastises Israel for it's response in Lebanon while the Lebanese presently bomb a "refugee camp full of innocents". You just have to love the hypocrisy of the "World Politic".

Truth Please

From Mario Loyola of the National Review H/T Foundation for the Defense of Democracies:
Last Saturday night, near a refugee camp outside Tripoli in the north, Palestinian militia members clashed with Lebanese security forces searching for the culprits of a bank robbery. The suspects, members of Fatah al Islam, a Syrian-Palestinian al Qaeda franchise, were armed, and resisted, and some were killed. Just a few hours later, near three in the morning on Sunday, the Fatah al Islam struck back, surrounding several Lebanese army checkpoints and murdering the soldiers at their posts.

Initial reports suggested that the 27 Lebanese army soldiers who were killed on Sunday died in a firefight. That is not what happened. The soldiers were killed execution-style. According to one source close to the Lebanese army high command, nine of them were found with their throats slit — and with no other visible injuries.

Initial reports also suggested that the terrorists had emerged from the main Palestinian “refugee camp” outside Tripoli. This, too, appears to be false. One source within the army insists that the fighters could not have come from the refugee camp because the camp is cordoned off and the approaches from it are well monitored. They appear to have come from apartments in Tripoli and the surrounding region. Raids of suspected hideouts have reportedly turned up explosive belts. This means that Lebanese history is likely now to be in the hands of suicide bombers. Lebanon hasn’t felt very well in a long time, and it just learned that it has cancer: Al Qaeda sleeper cells have metastasized throughout the country, and their leader promised Sunday to “unleash the gates of hell” if the Lebanese army doesn’t back down. “This is going to turn into Baghdad,” my friend told me. “Bombs every night.”

The terrorists came from apartments in the camps, in Tripoli, and elsewhere. Their neighbors know who they are: they should have seen all of this coming, and they should have done something about it; yet they did not. This works out well for the opposition, led by the unlikely couple of Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah and the Christian former president Michel Aoun. As could be expected, they are claiming that everybody saw this coming. According to them, the government of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, increasingly impotent and irrelevant, had all the intelligence it needed and simply failed to act on it. They now demand that the army be given political cover to do its job.

I recommend reading the hole article. Mr. Loyola puts a little too much responsibility on the needed actions of the United Nations, but, otherwise a good reference piece.

Kill them anyway

According to another PA official, Haniyeh made it clear during Wednesday's meeting that Hamas was prepared to halt the firing of Kassam rockets "if Israel stops its aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank."

So let's get this straight. The "Palestinians" have been launching rockets into Israel since before the last cease fire yet it is Israel that needs to stop the aggression into Gaza. Do you now see how this works. They refuse to admit that it was their own fault Israel crossed into Gaza and started attacking. This action was in self defense and Hamas claims otherwise. More...

What about...

What about a nation's right to exist? What about a nation's right to defend itself against attacks from a neighboring nation? What about a nation's responsibility to protect it's people? What about a nation's responsibility to ensure that it's inhabitants can fend for their own well-being? Isn't this the reason people get together and form communities in the first place?

Why feel sorry for a people who decided they hated their neighbors and commenced to attacking these neighbors through acts of terrorism? Why feel sorry for spoiled imps who refuse to play nice with others? Why are there so many groups in place that go around ignoring the true cause of heinous acts and then claim those same people are the victims? The "Palestinians" are the victim of their own ignorance and their islamic brethren's hatred. The "Palestinians" are worse than the ba$tard child. They are used, voluntarily so, as a tool against the Zionist entity which is located amidst an islamic cesspool.

The reason there are checkpoints in Israel and the "occupied" territories is to prevent terrorists from murdering more Israelis. The reason the "Palestinians" are being choked off from the rest of the world is because of the despotism of their islamic brethren that was touted by their illustrious atrocitizer, Yassir Arafat. The reason "Palestinians" starve is because of their own hatred and stupidity.

It doesn't matter who or what organization decides to point the finger at Israel, the truth of the matter is that the "Palestinians" brought all of this on themselves. Just as Lebanon is finding out that the "Palestinians" in their midst have destroyed what could have been a flourishing society, so have the Gaza, and West Bank "Palestinians". All they know is anger and death. They wake up to hatred, they are taught hatred, and the show this hatred through acts of murder. The Israelis didn't do this to them. They and their enabling families did.

It would be pathetic to one day realize that a tiny nation of 7 million Jews was able to build an oasis in the desert and the land that islamists have ruled for years is worse than a ghetto. Once the power of the islamic sword was defeated by a smaller stronger Jewish sword, I would feel pretty left out and "downtrodden". I would probably lost all hope, especially seeing a bunch of bloodthirsty revenge seekers taking control. These despots live in luxury while the masses kill each other for table scraps. However, instead of taking vengeance on the despots, they go after the people mentioned in their "holy book" as the pigs and infidels. The very same despots use the religion of the masses to protect themselves. Only the ignorant could fall for something this blatantly obvious.

What about letting the afflicted nation conduct a real war? What about that afflicted nation actually being willing to conduct a war. Until the despots are toppled and the people are forced to deal with the truth, they will live in denial and slavery. Slaves to selfish, egotistical tyrants. Slaves to lies and deceit. Slaves to starvation and destitution. Slaves to an allah that cares nothing for life. Slaves to death

So What!?

Military blockades and increased restrictions imposed by Israel on the movement of Palestinians and the confiscation by Israel of Palestinian custom duties caused a significant deterioration in living conditions for Palestinian inhabitants in the Occupied Territories,” according to the report.

So says Amnesty International. The fact that these restrictions are placed on a people that, if allowed easier access, would kill more Israelis. This said about a people who wish to get rid of Israel altogether. Obviously defending a people is only important if it involves defending the very terrorists who would destroy Israel. If Israel were to pull out of all the "occupied territories" what would the result be? My bet is they would have to speed up building the fence and at some point force out all non-Israelis in order to keep itself from imploding. All of this while facing even more attacks externally. Almost but not quite

Because of the worsening security situation and infighting in Gaza, "Hamas fires its rockets to kill Israeli women and children, while cynically trying to provoke Israel’s reaction and...thereby blame the common enemy of the Palestinian people, which – as Palestinians are brainwashed from childhood to believe – is Israel. Aren't "Palestinians" lovely people?

A convoy of UN relief supplies was hit in renewed fighting as it attempted to enter the Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr el-Bared on Tuesday, and there are possible casualties, a relief official said.

When will the self proclaimed civilized world learn? During a battle or a war you do NOT send in relief agencies to provide assistance to the hurt and hungry. Relief agencies should not be sent anywhere until the battle or the war is over. Why Lebanon would allow the United Nations to send in supplies to the very entity they are attacking is beyond stupid. One of two things come of this. Either the relief agents are attacked, as in this instance, or the relief supplies end up in the hands of the enemy "soldiers". Both results are destructive. More...

My Conspiracy Theory

Anyone who has read my postings knows that I do not see the actions of Hamas, Hizbollah, Iran, or Syria as separate entities but as part of one overall plot against Israel. I also see the recent attacks in Lebanon as part of this plot. Information I read today reinforces this idea:

Suspicions regarding (please read the article)Fatah al-Islam center on the fact that Shakir al-Abssi was sentenced in 2003 to three years in prison in Syria after being convicted of plotting attacks inside the country. This was an unusually lenient sentence. By comparison, for example, Syrians suspected of involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood are routinely given 12-year terms. Al-Abssi, after his release, turned up among pro-Syrian Fatah-intifada circles in Nahr al-Bared and shortly afterward emerged as the leader of the new group, Fatah al-Islam. These facts have led General Ashraf Rifi, head of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces (FSI), to conclude that "this is a Syrian creation to sow chaos." Which raises the question, why might the Syrians wish to sow chaos in Lebanon, and why now?
