All talk, No action

The Israeli government should not have ended operations against Hizbullah until the return of the two abducted Israel Defense Forces soldiers was secured, the brother of one of the captives said Wednesday evening.

This is as blunt and to the point as anyone can get. The instigating incident that caused Israel to invade Southern Lebanon to take on Hizbollah led to a feeble attempt to get the men back. The result, two men still beng held captive by Hizbollah and Israel having egg on it's face. Kidnapping has been a tool of the terror groups from the beginning. Had it not worked in the past it would have ceased. By ceasing military operations, Israel made the case that this tactic still works.

The pressure should be placed directly on both Fuad Saniora and Hizbollah to send the men back home. This is a violation of the "international law" that these people like to throw in everyone's face. Israel owes Hizbollah nothing. In fact, Hizbollah is a terror group that has no standing anywhere. The Lebanese government is therefore responsible for what is occurring within it's borders. Hassan Nasrallah should be brought up on charges and at the very least thrown into a Lebanese prison for the rest of his life. Saniora doesn't have the courage for this.

Though the accountability lies with the Lebanese government, Israel is responsible for the safety of it's people. By resorting to negotiations the power lies in the hands of Hizbollah. This is bad for everyone.

Israel should ask for help

As the title states, Israel needs to ask for help then more importantly accept it. It's key ally is occupied and involved all around the world and is trying to defend itself. Israel's best shot is to go after individual allies. By this I mean people from other nations who consider themselves staunch supporters of Israel. With governments and national militaries involved in conflicts world wide, they lack the resources, and many lack the will, to defend Israel. This leaves Israels defense up to it's own Military. If war were to breakout, the entire population of Israel would have to be armed against the attacks. This may not be enough.

If pro-Israeli's from other nations were recruited to the cause it could be an insurmountable obstacle for the attackers. Pressure could be exerted more than politically. If a battlefield is formed Israel could utilize foreign nationals to help fight back the Islamic onslaught.

Israeli groups have raised money to bring in the Jewish diaspora. Maybe it could spend this money bringing in people to aid in it's defense. The French have a Foreign Legion. Israel could utilize the same setup. I believe Israel would be pleasantly surprised to find out how many people would sign up to this.

This is just an idea. It takes time and money to set it up. As farfetched as it may sound, it's plausible.  But like I said, it's just an idea.

War of Religion's

Whether it is denied or not, we are currently on the cusp of an all out war between religions.

On one side their Is Islam. At one point in human history Islamists held control over a major portion of the world. Through warfare they expanded their power and converted the people within their realm. Those that didn't convert were either killed or forced to pay a tax and live as second class citizens. Often victim to the whims of the Islamic majority. Listening to Islamic apologists today can be frustrating. Hearing people claim that the Jews, Christians, Buddhists, etc were treated well as long as they accepted their second class status. This does not jibe with modern day ideology. Statement's like these are downplayed or ignored outright. Everywhere Islam is making inroads there is conflict. It won't be long before it becomes violent within the US.

On the other side their Are the Jews and the Christians. Considered "People of the Book" by Islam. Historically the Jews have been victim to just about every genocidal monster that has come to power. They have also been victim to their fellow "People of the Book", the Christians. It appears recently that these "people of the Book" are growing closer in their relations. The Christians have matured to realize that the Jews are not Christ killers. And the Jews are realizing that although Christians attempt to proselytize, that the Christians have developed a respect for the fellow believers in the one and true G-d. Whereas Judaism has been limited to a small portion of the populace, Christianity spread and is the "dominant" religion of the 3 "Abrahamic" faiths.

The Jews and Christians appear to be able to live together as equals. Islam refuses this. Islam from it's inception was meant to dominate, by force if necessary. The Islamic Koran allows for lies and deception if it advances the cause of Islam. Lying to a non-believer is acceptable. a Muslim cannot fight against his Muslim brother. Whereas Judaism and Christianity are faiths that help a person make decisions in their life. Islam mandates and dictates every move a Muslim makes. The Jewish and Christian G-d is active in the daily lives of his people. The Islamic allah appears to be aloof and doesn't like to be bothered.

Christianity is rooted in Judaism. The Christian Old Testament is founded in Judaism's Torah and Talmud. This provides the history of the Jewish people in their walk with G-d. The New Testament is the preaching of Jesus Christ and his disciples. The continuing walk with G-d that was given to the Gentiles. True children and the Adopted. Just as there would be in any household with natural children and adopted, there are squabbles. In the end, differences are set aside for the greater good. (Yes this is oversimplified but I only have so much space to write.)

Islam doesn't allow for differences. The Koran, and the hadiths, are adamant in their charges. There can be no acceptance of the non-believer. Tolerance of the Infidel is unacceptable. In order to be a "moderate" muslim, one would have to disavow a major portion of the Koran. This would set one up as an apostate and just as heretical as the Jews and Christians.

The differences between the faiths will not be reconciled by politics. Yap sessions between diplomats will not relieve each faith's expected duties. Each religion has it's true believers and those that support them. Whether a person is active in conflict or not, they believe what their books guide them to do and will support it. This cannot be negated without war. If you hear a Jew, Christian, or Muslim disavow what is in their Holy Book's then you are not dealing with a true believer and will not solve anything.

As I stated we are on the cusp of a religious war. The sooner people in power acknowledge it  the sooner it can be over. Ignoring the facts only makes it worse and the outcome be more chaotic.

Let the war commence

For centuries diplomats have been talking about achieving peace and stability in the Middle East. Over this same period, the situation has gotten steadily worse. Every diplomatic maneuver that humanity has been able to come up with has been used in an attempt to calm the tensions in the Middle East. Failure after failure. If you listen to diplomats their greatest fear is war. They do everything they can to prevent fullscale war in the region. Maybe the Middle East needs a purging. Maybe the Middle East should erupt into that full scale war and cleanse it of the despotism and hopelessness that has consumed it.

This sounds tragic. Unfortunately that is the human condition. This is a situation that all have taken part in. The Middle East is everybody else's test area. They fiddle here and dally there. They take this guy out of power and put another one into power. Nations from around the world support conflicting factions. All this to show off one's power. Then diplomats come in and make the situation even worse.

I am a simple guy. I believe in good and evil. I believe life is a constant conflict between these two battling ideologies. I believe there is a time, when all else has failed, for war. The Middle East is a festering cesspool of despotism and hatred that is only getting worse with every diplomatic attempt at peace. Evil is on the verge of running the entire region. Because the west is responsible for a good portion of what is wrong in the Middle East it holds a stake in any war that occurs. Enough of the proxy war and it's time for full confrontation in the area. Fighters have sided up and the line has been draw. The next flinch will lead to the mass conflagration that has been building up for over 2,000 years.

Get a rope

This is as sickening as it gets.

"We are raping Jews because of what the IDF is doing to the Palestinians in the territories," one of the six suspects told investigators from the Northern District Central Investigative Unit (CIU) during questioning. During their questioning and their brief appearance at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court Tuesday, none of the four main suspects indicated that they felt remorse for their actions.

These pathetic excuses for human beings need to be strung up after they have received what they have done to these girls. The ages of the girls ranged from 13 to 25 years old. A gang of serial rapists attacking young Jewish girls under the excuse of retribution for what the IDF is doing. This is what the human being is capable of. This is how low humans can go. Tragically Human beings can sink even lower than this.

The typical "They come from good families" story comes out. If that be the case, then what snapped inside these barbarians to make them do something like this? This disgusts me.

Jerusalem belongs to Israel

Genesis Chapter 15

v18, In that same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphra'tes:

19,  the Kenites, and the Ken'izzites, and the Kad'monites,

20,  and the Hittites, and the Per'izzites, and the Reph'a-im,

21,  and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Gir'gashites, and the Jeb'usites.

There it is. Plain as day. This land belongs to Israel. Included in this area is the city of Jerusalem. This land was promised by the LORD. Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948 they have had opportunities to actually obtain all of this land. Israel has been attacked over and over again. Each attack provided an opportunity for Israel to expand and actually retake the land that was promised to them. What have they done instead? They are giving what tiny sliver of land they do have away.

How does this coincide with what G-d wants for his people? If G-d says it is yours, then go take it. He has promised to protect you. What greater protection can there be?

Alright I'm a Christian. You can accuse me of all kinds of reasons for why I would want Israel to take what is rightfully their's. What it comes down to is, if G-d tells you to do something, you do it. If G-d has promised you something he delivers. If G-d expects certain actions in return, you do it. Israel is refusing to take what is rightfully their's so why should G-d give them anything else if they won't take what he has already given them.

If a person gives you a gift and you give it away, this is an disrespectful to the giver. This is exactly what the Israeli's have done to G-d. They are disrespecting him by declaring they know better. They would rather have a little than all of it. They don't want to look bad to the Islamists or the secular west. They are busy trying to please the world while they shun G-d and gain nothing from the world anyhow.

Israel will have to awaken soon. Their history is proof that everytime they have been disobedient they have suffered. It's about time to to go back to being obedient. Let the rest of the world scoff, this is nothing new. Take what was promised to you and use it for good. If you aren't willing to fight for yourselves what right do you have to ask others to fight for you?

Going out on a limb

Khaled Mashaal has declared that he will stop the rocket attacks on Israel.

"Hamas should use its authority to stop violence including missile attacks against Israel," Lavrov said at a news conference after his meeting with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal.

"We received confirmation that such steps will be taken," Lavrov said.

I have one word for the Russian Foreign Minister. Poppycock! When has Khaled Mashaal ever said anything that he has lived up to unless it involved more killing of Israelis? What is the requirement that Hamas has placed on Israel for this "concession?":

First of all, Israel has to end its occupation of Palestinian territory and put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people," Mashaal said when asked about the recognition issue. "When Israel does that, the Palestinian people will make their position clear.

And what is does Hamas consider to be occupied? The very land that Israel is presently located on. Go read their charter. The goal and whole reason for the founding of Hamas was to push Israel into the sea. If the Russian Foreign Minister actually believes anything that Mashaal has "confirmed" he is a blooming' idiot. Russians may be a lot of things but I wouldn't consider them idiots. The FM knows very well that Mashaal has no intention of stopping attacks on Israel nor does he care. This is nothing but a publicity stunt to shore up support for Russia from the Middle Eastern radical mainstream.

Get ready for war.

The truth in front of us

Hizbollah continues with it's bloviating.

The deputy chief of Hizbullah warned Tuesday that any "military adventure" by the United States and Israel against Iran would have dangerous consequences across the Middle East.

I recommend reading the entire post. It continues to prove what I have associated with the Hussein approach to the West. These people, Iran, Hizbollah, Hamas et al are following step by step the strategy that Saddam Hussein failed with. Truth has no place in the Islamist realm. Propaganda and misdirection are the tools of the terrorists. Making baseless accusations and then watching the West, especially America and Israel, try and prove that they aren't true.

While this game is being played the Terrorists and their enablers are getting away with murder and building up their base of support. The wording this man uses to explain his cases is all manipulative. Though he is an Hizbollah terrorist he speaks of Lebanon as Hizbollah was Lebanon. He claims to be part of a resistance group? What are they resisting? They can't blame Israel, it left quite awhile ago. The only resistance taking place is resistance against the government elected by the Lebanese people. Rockets headed to the South and pressure being placed on the North. This is all Hizbollah is good for.

If there is going to be an attack on Iran it must be now. The reason I say this is because of the similar rhetoric between Hizbollah, Iran and the previously toppled Saddam Hussein:

Asked if the US attacked Iran, Hizbullah would retaliate by striking Israel, Kassem said Iran is capable of defending itself because it "possesses the means, a tenacious populace and a wise leadership."

This is a giveaway of Iran's weakness. The only response that Iran could have would be to unleash terror organization around the world. The Nation of Iran is incapable of protecting itself but it does have organizations beholden to it's purse strings.

"But we believe Lebanon's independence is only achieved by the resistance," said Kassem.

The Lebanese people resisted Syrian control and forced Syria to rely on Hizbollah. If Hizbollah is allowed any governmental power then Syria is back in business in Lebanon. How is this Independence?

In the interview, Kassem reiterated Hizbullah's refusal to disarm but said that his group adhered to the UN cease-fire resolution, which bars any military presence south of the Litani River except for the Lebanese army and UN peacekeepers.

SO they get to choose what part of the UN resolution they follow? The resolution calls for them to disarm and not to be resupplied with arms? Who has been supplying the arms? Iran and Syria. Everyone knows this. Even the UN has admitted this. Hassan Nasrallah declared to the world that Iran and Syria were rearming it. This means that Iran and Syria, two nation state members of the United Nations, are in violation of supporting known terrorists. If the UN had any chutzpa, which it doesn't, it would be seriously sanctioning these countries. There would have been an ultimatum set. There has been none nor will there be. Iran, Syria, and Hizbollah will continue to get away with what they have been while the legitimate government of Lebanon is in fear for it's very existence and Israel continues to suffer rocket attacks.

The west is funding it's own destruction through the United Nations. Until Fuad Saniora grows a spine he will have to remain in hiding for his life. The lines have been drawn and the sides are teaming up. Ignoring this will not make the truth go away. We will all have to face the truth in the not so distant future.

More on Terrorists will unite if Iran attacked.

Hugo take your place

Venezuela's dictator has continued along the failed path of nationalization.

President Hugo Chavez ordered by decree on Monday the takeover of oil projects run by foreign oil companies in Venezuela's Orinoco River region.

Obviously being a failed student of history Mr. Chavez is continuing the downward spiral of his nation's economy as well as destroying it's future. Nero has a new home and it's in Caracas. Having lied to his people and convinced them that America is evil and Socialism/Communism is the answer to Venezuela's problems he has set himself up in a modern electoral monarchy. If he get's his way he can be the living destroyer of Venezuela for life.

The companies that will be affected:

British Petroleum PLC,
Irving, Texas-based Exxon Mobil Corp.,
Chevron Corp.,
ConocoPhillips Co. of Houston,
Total SA
Statoil ASA.

The Oil companies find themselves in a quandary. If they up and leave they give up any future revenues that may be gained when Chavez is finally toppled internally. If they stay they will be beholden to Mr. Chavez and will petty much have to do everything he says.

How has Mr. Chavez justified this action?:

Chavez has justified the nationalizations as necessary to give the government control of sectors "strategic" to Venezuela's interests.

How about this strategy, Ally himself with the nations that actually have done the work to get the oil pumped and shipped. Allow these nations to assist not only in the oil production but helping with building Venezuela's economy. Create a situation of friendship rather than the adversarial nature Mr. Chavez seems to be so keen on. Venezuela will pay a frightful price for placing Mr. Chavez into their highest seat of power. Providing him dictatorial powers should have made Venezuelans realize that they made a huge mistake. Apparently it hasn't. the Middle East has moved South of the American Border.

For what it's worth, If I were the oil companies, I would scuttle everything and vamoose. Leave it to him to repair.

Mr. Chavez, take your place amonst the other failed dictators in history. You will soon be the butt of jokes around the world, not just in capitalist economies. Unfortunately it is your people that will pay the true price with more hunger and poverty.

Esterina Tartman, didn't get to know you

Yesterday was the first time I had written anything about Esterina Tartman, the newly appointed Tourism Minister. I had very little info on the woman and can honestly say that I haven't really followed anything she had done to this point. Now I will probably be able to find more info than I need due to the allegation that she has lied on her resume in regards to her education.

Whether her "lack of education" has hindered her job performance or not does not matter. The fact that she had lied and apparently repeated it does. Politicians are already considered snake oil salesman. Being caught shows that one isn't very good at it. In politics honesty is a crutch, and being caught in a lie is folly. I would suspect that Miss Tartman's role as Tourism Minister will end before it starts.

A minor Photographic Media note. Take a look at these pictures that have I found in the Jerusalem Post and Ynet NEws service.

Posted Prior to allegations:

Photo: Gil YohananThis is an attractive lady. Being 48, she appears to have aged gracefully.

Posted After Allegations:

Photo: Gil Yohanan
Here she appears to look her age. Coincidence?

I went back to as many articles as I could find on Miss Tartmann and all of the other photos are more like the first photograph. I am sure there was nothing intentional in this but I find it funny how the media works.

Russia makes it's stand known

Russia pledged Tuesday to help lift an economic embargo against the Palestinian government as Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks with Hamas political director Khaled Mashaal , upping the stakes in Moscow's bid to build influence in the Middle East.

Khaled Mashaal has what he wants. Russia has finally come out of the closet and let it's intentions known. What this means is that while the EU and US may not agree to start sending money or open diplomatic ties with the Hamas led government of "Palestine", Russia will. Any continued sanctioning will be circumvented by the Russians. This is consistent with Russian policy from the days of the Cold War. Any enemy of America is a friend to Russia and deserves support.

As I have stated often, the Cold War never ended it just changed strategy. The Russians never admitted defeat. I am sure Russia is already circumventing the sanctions placed on Iran and will continue to do so no matter what anyone else chooses to do. The Russians, along with the Chinese are working the world back into a two sided confrontation of Liberty versus Oppression. Oppression has been a standard of living in Russia for centuries. They have a problem with evolving into the modern world. Weapons and toys does not mean s nation is modern. Their ideology is as outdated as the Islamists we are fighting.

In the end Russia will end up being decimated by the very Islamists they are supporting. Bit that's in the future, they don't have time to contemplate this right now.

Lavrov called the Mecca agreement a "positive step," saying: "The Russian leadership from the very beginning supported the idea of forming this kind of government."

Nobody in their right mind sees this as a positive step unless they have something to gain from it. Obviously Russia does. It sees itself as important again. They have someone that needs them and will call them "Friend". How pathetic. The Islamists will use up Russia and then kick them to the curb like they do everyone else. The Atheistic Russians will lose the "friendship" if the West is forced to subside. If this ever happens, Russia will reap what it has sewn. Who knows, if Israel attacks Iran and Russia is forced into the conflict, they may actually suffer sooner than later.

Two Faced "Palestinians"

What would an Islamist do if a Jewish or Christian mob destroyed a Mosque? The answer is pretty simple because they have already displayed what they would do if they even think a mosque is being harmed. What does a Jew do when a Synagogue is destroyed by an Islamist? Nothing. They get upset, they wail, and then they go about their business. The "Palestinians" are whining because the Jews are rebuilding a ramp near Al Aqsa mosque. No damage will be done to the Mosque but that doesn't matter.

The Synagogues left vacant in the evacuated territories have been and are being destroyed but that's considered acceptable.

In front of international camera crews, the Palestinians ripped off aluminum window frames and metal ceiling fixtures from the Neve Dekalim synagogues, which were situation close to each other in the center of town. Militants flew the Palestinian and Hamas flags from the structures before mobs burned down the synagogues.

The Zionists left these so called synagogues in order to make that one day media outlets like WorldNetDaily would raise the pathetic and rude argument about what we have done to the poor Zionists holy places. (Israel) left the synagogues behind so the world would see the Palestinians destroying them," Abu Abir said.

So let me get this straight. Leaving behind the synagogues to be destroyed was a Zionist conspiracy and the "Palestinians" took it hook line and sinker. Does any of this make sense? If this idiot considered it a conspiracy why would he allow people to partake in it?

This shows the mentality, or lack there of, of the Islamist enemy we are facing. They can do no wrong and everything is justifiable. We must act restrained and they can do what they want. It's about time they feel the wrath that they deserve. Otherwise they will continue to grow and increase their ability to dampen the light known as the west.

Piker, My Liberal Friend

If anyone has been following the debate between Blogger Piker62 and myself, I hope you have found it entertaining and educational. Entertaining in the fact that debate can be conducted without being abusive and degrading. Educational in you can see how both sides of the argument work and get a sense of the people in the debate.

I owe Piker an apology. At some point in the debate it went from the administration declared to the administration implied and I missed the transition. Which is funny because that's what my side of the debate espoused.

If you haven't paid attention to this, you missed out.

I stand by my side of the debate even with the change in accusation. He apparently is sticking to his. Despite the result, I enjoyed the tit-for-tat. If politicos would drop the rhetoric and actually debate issues as opposed to making personal attacks and vacuous references, we wouldn't be in the situation we are.

Thank you piker for the debate. I look forward to more.

James
